CRA My Business Account

With recent changes with CRA, it is now important to set up your CRA My Business Account and authorize us as your accountants. This allows us to continue to support your business with accurate and timely tax services.

 

Below are a series of sets to guide you through.

 

Step 1: Register Your Business with CRA

If you haven’t already done so, please register your business and obtain a Business Number (BN) by visiting the CRA’s Business Registration Online portal:

Step 2: Set Up CRA My Business Account

Once you have your BN, please create your CRA My Business Account here:

Step 3: Authorize Our Firm as Your Representative

To allow us to manage your tax filings and communicate with CRA on your behalf:

  1. Log in to your CRA My Business Account.
  2. Navigate to “Manage Authorized Representatives”.
  3. Select “Authorize a Business”.
  4. Enter our Business Number
  5. Choose Level 2 Authorization (View and Update Access).
  6. Set the authorization to no expiry, unless you prefer a specific end date.
  7. Confirm and submit the request.

Once completed, we will receive notification from CRA and begin assisting you with your business tax matters.
